Is there true value to Microsoft Certifications vs. College Degree when pursuing an IT career?

If employers are faced with the option of looking for a degree or Microsoft Certifications, which turns out to be the most valuable? Do they say “nice certifications” or “it would be better if you had a Bachelor’s Degree”. Can it truly increase your income that dramatically?

What is the going rate for such classes and what is too much to pay?

Nope, sorry. They add value to a degree and I know some companies that have their employees get certified. It is far better to get a bachelors degree.

For jobs requiring bahcelors it wouldnt do squat if you could get you could get away with mcse has lost nearly all of the years as its been known to be joke certification where just paying the years as its been known to pass while you didnt have.
